New Facility Recertified for ISO 13485:2016

We have a new home in Northern California!

Our new facility in Healdsburg recently passed the audit for ISO 13485:2016 recertification. After 22 years, we’ve made a significant investment in a dedicated space we designed and outfitted to reliably meet your heat shrink tubing needs, now and in the future.

The new building is almost triple the size of our previous space and has already increased our capacity by about 30%. We have additional investments planned and plenty of room for growth. Designed to optimize workflow, the new building features several new expansion lines, a dedicated R&D lab, clean manufacturing spaces with positive airflow and HEPA filtration, new IT infrastructure, and additional warehouse space.

To further align the company for continued growth, we recently announced the appointment of Bart Harris as General Manager of Cobalt Polymers. Bart leads a seasoned team including Director of Operations Cheryl Morrison, who has been with Cobalt for nearly 20 years; and Production Manager Tony Martinez, who has been with the company for 15 years.

As we settle into our new home, we’ll continue to expand our range of stock tubing, add to our offering on Chamfr.com, and reduce lead times.
